The 2025 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP is Honda’s latest masterstroke, bringing the thrill of the track to the streets. At the heart of the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP lies the inline four-cylinder engine that shares its bore and stroke with the MotoGP-winning RC213V. With a bore and stroke of 81mm x 48.5mm, this engine delivers impressive power and a stimulating riding experience. Including finger-follower rocker arms, a technology borrowed from Honda’s racing pedigree, reduces the inertia weight of the valve system by an impressive seventy-five percent compared to traditional systems. Combined with the innovative DLC coating, it significantly enhances the engine’s performance, making the Fireblade SP’s redline even higher.
In addition to its engine prowess, the 2025 Fireblade SP is equipped with advanced technology designed to optimize the ride. The full-color TFT meter provides a wealth of information, allowing you to monitor everything from engine temperature to riding modes. Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system offers control with five power curves, ten torque-control levels, and three engine-braking levels.
The Fireblade SP’s handling is refined with Öhlins’ second-generation Smart EC Suspension, which utilizes an electronically controlled NPX fork to minimize cavitation inside the damper, stabilizing damping force and improving bump absorption. The Brembo braking system, featuring 330mm front brake discs and Brembo Stylema front calipers, delivers impressive stopping power.
Aerodynamics plays a crucial role in the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP’s performance, including aerodynamic winglets that generate significant downforce at high speeds, enhancing stability and control. The titanium muffler, developed in collaboration with Akrapovič, reduces weight and improves mass centralization, further enhancing the bike’s agility.
The 2025 Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP, with its Grand Prix Red paint job, has an MSRP of $28,999 and is available at authorized Honda dealerships now.
