Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled its competition-only Triumph TF 250-E and TF 450-E models with their eyes set on dominating the Enduro class for the 2026 model year. Developed in close collaboration with World Enduro Champions Iván Cervantes and Paul Edmondson, both motorcycles are meant for peak performance across technical terrain and high-speed tracks.
Triumph TF 250-E and TF 450-E Agility and Power
The Triumph TF 250-E arrives with the newly designed 249.9cc single-cylinder DOHC engine delivering an impressive 41.7 horsepower and 20.5 ft-lb of torque. With a compression ratio of 14.4, this powertrain is crafted specifically for Enduro, emphasizing responsive and manageable power with a dynamic character ideal for technical trails and demanding Enduro competitions. The TF 250-E power curve is broad and robust, excelling at low-speed maneuvers while still capable of unleashing exceptional top-end performance at 12,800 RPM.
Further enhancing the 251.7-pound (wet) TF 250-E’s capability, Triumph has fitted it with a state-of-the-art Athena engine management system. Featuring two distinct and switchable engine maps, riders can instantly adapt their motorcycle’s performance to varying terrain and race conditions. Optional Wi-Fi connectivity via the Triumph MX Tune Pro app allows for even deeper personalization of engine behavior.
The 257.3 pounds (wet) TF 450-E is driven by a 449.9 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled SOHC engine, delivering 57.8 horsepower and 35.6 lb-ft of torque. With a carefully tuned power curve, the engine offers smooth, linear acceleration, enabling precise control whether navigating technical single-track trails or blasting through open terrain at high speed. The inclusion of Del West titanium valves, forged König aluminum pistons, and a DLC-coated gudgeon pin ensures not just performance but remarkable durability and minimal maintenance requirements.
Complementing the 450-E’s powertrain is a race-proven six-speed gearbox coupled with an Exedy racing clutch, allowing for seamless, clutch-less upshifts that maintain momentum through challenging sections. The Dell’Orto 44mm throttle body, combined with Triumph’s co-developed Athena Engine Management System, provides impeccable throttle response, with dual selectable engine maps offering adaptability at the rider’s fingertips.
Triumph TF 250-E and TF 450-E Components and Engineering
The Triumph TF 250-E and TF 450-E feature a lightweight aluminum spine frame optimized for agility, directional control, and stability. Crafted with in-house hand TIG welding and post-fabrication machining, the frame achieves optimal dimensional accuracy, significantly enhancing overall performance. Complementing the frame, are fully adjustable KYB coil-sprung forks with 11.81 inches of front, 12.32 inches of rear travel, and a linkage-driven rear suspension.
Equipped with a Galfer braking system featuring a Brembo floating caliper setup, stopping power is both precise and reliable. Michelin Enduro 2 tires paired with D.I.D DirtStar rims provide superior grip and durability on all surfaces, from soft mud to hard-packed trails.
The lightweight stainless steel exhaust system with an integrated Helmholtz resonator enhances cylinder evacuation, improving performance and providing a deep, resonant exhaust note. The bike also features a durable Dell’Orto throttle body, Del West titanium valves, and a König forged aluminum piston for optimal reliability and low-maintenance racing.
Both Triumph TF 250-E and TF 450-E models share rider-focused ergonomics featuring Pro Taper ACF Carbon Core handlebars with adjustable mounts, ODI half-waffle lock-on grips, and a non-slip Pyramid seat. A 2.2-gallon fuel tank ensures adequate range for long, demanding laps, and integrated LED lighting enhances visibility during low-light Enduro stages.
Styled in aggressive Triumph Performance Yellow graphics against sleek, race-inspired bodywork and magnesium engine covers, the Triumph TF 250-E and 450-E present a race-ready aesthetic that sets them apart on the starting line.
Available starting at $9,795 for the 250-E and $10,795 for the 450-E, orders are being accepted at authorized Triumph dealers, with deliveries starting in June 2025.
