Michele Colaninno, the Chief Executive Officer of the Piaggio Group, has been reelected as the President of ACEM (Association des Constructeurs Européens de Motocycles) for a second term. In his statement, Colaninno emphasized the evolving nature of the market and urban environments and highlighted the industry’s commitment to sustainability, connectivity, safety, and competitiveness, as outlined in the ACEM Manifesto. He also underscored the crucial role of transport and mobility in the development and quality of life, particularly in the context of geopolitical events such as the upcoming elections in Europe, the USA, and India.
Aside from his leadership in the Piaggio Group, Michele Colaninno also holds key positions in the Immsi Group, an industrial holding with a significant presence in the financial, real estate, and industrial sectors. His reelection is on par with ACEM’s restructuring, which has appointed three Vice Presidents: Stefan Pierer, Markus Flasch, and Vito Cicchetti. This reorganization positions ACEM for continued engagement with European, national, and local bodies to serve the interests of clients and private individuals in the motorcycle and scooter industry.
