Meet the 2024 Ducati Corse R&D Factory MX Team, starring Antonio Cairoli, Alessandro Lupino and the Ducati Desmo450 MX.
Ducati Corse Off-Road has unveiled two prototypes that will be used by Antonio Cairoli and Alessandro Lupino in 2024. Ducati presented the prototypes and the Ducati Factory MX Team at the Campioni in Pista event in Madonna di Campiglio in their racing livery. Alessandro Lupino will compete in all the Italian Championship rounds and participate in an ardent testing program with Antonio Cairoli. The Ducati Desmo450 MX is set to make its race debut on March 16 and 17 in Mantua for the first round of the Italian Motocross Pro Prestige MX1 Championship.
The Desmo450 MX will compete in the Italian Motocross Pro – Prestige MX1 Championship, by the Ducati Corse R&D – Factory MX Team managed by Corrado and Marco Maddii. Season one for the team is more of a recon mission to gather data and information to contribute to developing the Desmo450 MX, which will enter production in the second half of 2025.
