Paolo Ciabatti transitions from the circuit to the dirt as General Manager of Ducati Corse Off-Road, Ducati’s latest venture focusing on off-road racing.
Ducati has recently unveiled its plans to establish a division called Ducati Corse Off-Road. The division will focus on the development and management of off-road models. It will manage the sporting program, including participation in the MXGP World Championship and the AMA Supercross Championship.
To lead this new division, Ducati has appointed Paolo Ciabatti, who previously served as the Sporting Director of Ducati Corse. As the General Manager of Ducati Corse Off-Road, his primary goal is to guide the company toward success in off-road racing. Ciabatti will report directly to the CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, Claudio Domenicali, and will retain responsibility for coordinating Ducati’s sporting activities in the main national SBK and SSP championships for the year 2024.
Mauro Grassilli, Head of Marketing and Sponsorships of Ducati Corse, will assume the role of Sporting, Marketing, and Communications Director of Ducati Corse. He will report directly to Ducati Corse General Manager Luigi Dall’Igna. Ducati Corse will continue to manage the MotoGP and WorldSBK championships to continue Ducati’s recent successes in those respective series.
