To mark the 10th anniversary of Triumph and The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, a new limited edition Bonneville T120 Black DGR has been released.
In 2014, Triumph partnered with the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride as their official motorcycle partner, committing to raising awareness, increasing participation, and fundraising for prostate cancer and men’s mental health. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of their partnership with the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, Triumph has produced 250 Bonneville T120 Black Limited Edition motorcycles.
The DGR was established in 2012 by Mark Hawwa in Sydney, Australia, as a platform for motorcycle enthusiasts to unite for a good cause. Over the years, the movement has expanded globally, with over 90,000 riders participating in 800 cities worldwide. The DGR has raised over $37 million USD. Triumph offers financial support and resources to raise the profile of the DGR worldwide and reward participants. Their passion and drive have helped make the DGR the world’s largest on-road charity motorcycling event.
The DGR Limited Edition Bonneville T120 Black Triumph has a new design that includes a DGR metallic black and white paint scheme with official DGR branding with a custom logo on the tank and side panels as well as gold detailing and a unique brown seat. A numbered certificate accompanies each motorcycle, and it is signed by DGR founder Mark Hawwa and Triumph CEO Nick Bloor. The person who raises the most money for the 2023 DGR will receive edition 001 of the motorcycle.
“If anyone had said ten years ago that we’d be celebrating a decade of partnership with Triumph Motorcycles, I would have laughed. That first year of signing with Triumph has always been a highlight for me. It felt exciting, and that excitement still carries on every year. Triumph has become like a family to me and to The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. They are passionate about getting classic styled bikes out for a ride and using the machines we love to make a positive impact for our cause. That excitement and passion has now been brought together in a product that speaks to our journey together. We are beyond proud to release the Bonneville T120 Black Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Limited Edition motorcycle, to celebrate what we have achieved together, and to continue doing more of what we love.” – Mark Hawwa, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Founder.
