Two-Time Daytona 200 winner Brandon Paasch joins the Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki team for the remainder of the 2023 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship.

Team Hammer announced that Brandon Paasch will join the squad and ride a Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki GSX-R1000R for the remaining rounds of the 2023 MotoAmerica Medallia Superbike Championship. Paasch’s debut with the team will take place at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca from July 7th to 9th.

Paasch boasts an impressive track record of success on various racing machines. In 2016, Paasch won the MotoAmerica KTM RC Cup and secured a podium finish in the KTM RC Cup World Final. Paasch then embarked on a three-season stint racing a Moto3 bike overseas, ultimately winning the 2019 British MotoStar Championship.

In 2020, Paasch finished third in the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship, notching 13 podium finishes. The following year, he captured the coveted Daytona 200 title and went on to compete for a factory team in the British Supersport series.

Paasch’s 2022 season began with another Daytona 200 victory, followed by an exceptional performance aboard an Altus Motorsports Suzuki GSX-R1000R. He secured six wins and a second place in the MotoAmerica Superbike Cup Championship, ultimately finishing fourth in the Stock 1000 Championship with four additional podium finishes.

Unfortunately, a back injury sidelined Paasch for the early 2023 MotoAmerica season. However, after fully recovering and showcasing his competitiveness at the 100th Loudon Classic, Paasch is eager to take on this new challenge.

Paasch has dedicated himself to an intense training regimen to regain peak fitness. While he acknowledges the learning curve of riding a Superbike, he is prepared to embrace the transition and improve with every track outing.

“I’m extremely excited and grateful for this opportunity. It came as a pleasant surprise to me. My ultimate goal has always been to compete in the Superbike class, but some may have questioned my return after the injury. By participating in the Loudon Classic, I proved that I’m still the same rider as before.” – Brandon Paasch.
