Suzuki is building on its legacy, which began in 2001 with the debut of the first generation GSX-R1000. For the 2025 model year, the Suzuki GSX-R1000R and GSX-R1000 are set to continue this tradition. Both models are equipped with a 999.8cc, inline-four-cylinder engine featuring the innovative Suzuki Racing Variable Valve Timing System (SR-VVT). The Suzuki Clutch Assist System (SCAS) and Suzuki Bi-directional Quick Shift System, enabling clutchless upshifts and downshifts, are also part of the package. Safety features include ABS and an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that provides comprehensive six-direction, three-axis, motion, and position information. The bikes also boast a GSX-RR MotoGP inspired LCD multifunction instrument panel, and updated bodywork.

The GSX-R1000R stands out with its unique features, including Showa’s BFF and BFRC-Lite suspension components, stainless steel brake lines, radially-mounted Brembo Monobloc brake calipers, and 320mm Brembo T-drive floating brake rotors.

The 2025 GSX-R1000R ($18,649) is available in Candy Daring Red / Glass Black or Metallic Matte Sword Silver paint schemes with corresponding wheel and suspension component colors. The 2025 Suzuki GSX-R1000 ($16,499) comes in Candy Daring Red with matching red wheels or Glass Matte Sword Silver with new blue graphics on the fairing and black wheels. The special edition GSX-R1000RZ ($18,649) is offered in Pearl Brilliant White and Metallic Triton Blue.
