The 2025 KTM 790 DUKE builds upon its acclaimed heritage established since its first unveiling in 2018. Under the 3.7-gallon fuel tank is a parallel twin, 4-stroke, 799 cc engine with an output of just under 65 foot-pounds of torque. The engine includes electronic fuel injection, balancer shafts, a slipper clutch, and ride-by-wire technology. Weighing in 412.2 pounds (wet), the bike features a tubular Chromium Molybdenum steel frame complemented by a cast aluminum subframe.

Riding dynamics include lean-angle sensitive Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) and selectable Supermoto ABS. You can choose between selectable ride modes including Sport, Street, Rain, and the optional Track mode, which allows for easy adjustments to both engine performance and MTC settings. The optional Quickshifter+ feature enables clutchless gear changes, making the ride even smoother.

The suspension also receives notable upgrades with 43mm WP APEX forks at the front and the gas-assisted WR APEX shock at the rear and features a progressive spring and preload adjustment. A WP steering damper comes as standard. Ergonomically, the 2025 790 DUKE rises to a bike height of 32.4 inches with a ground clearance of 7.3 inches.

The braking system is powerful, with twin 300 mm floating front discs paired with 4-piston radially mounted calipers, all controlled by a radial master cylinder and KTM’s Cornering ABS.

The new 5-inch TFT display is a welcome update from the previous 4.5-inch version, offering enhanced functionality and a more intuitive user experience. You can access KTM’s Demo Mode, a telemetry screen, and even an optional anti-wheelie mode with six adjustable settings. A new handlebar switch cluster makes on-screen selections simple.

With two new READY TO RACE colorways the styling of the 2025 KTM 790 DUKE remains undeniably aggressive, retaining the brand’s signature naked look while incorporating minor tweaks to enhance its sharpness and aesthetics. For added visibility, the bike is equipped with an LED headlight and LED daytime running lights. Coupled with two new READY TO RACE color schemes, the 790 DUKE offers a full range of KTM PowerParts if you want to make the bike unique for yourself. The list of optional features includes Motor Slip Regulation (MSR), Cruise Control, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Expect the 2025 KTM 790 DUKE to hit showroom floors in Spring 2025.
