KTM releases the 2024 KTM 390 DUKE and KTM 250 DUKE, powered by the all new LC4c single-cylinder engine.
KTM unveils the 2024 390 DUKE and the 250 DUKE powered by the new lightweight, compact single-cylinder engine, the LC4c. The LC4c engine comes in two sizes, a smaller 250 cc and the larger 399 cc.
With signature Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue color options, longer tank spoilers, prominent air intakes, and external LED positioning lights, the new 390 DUKE rightfully claims its position as the frontrunner of the two new models. The ride experience is further elevated with adjustable 43 mm WP APEX Open Cartridge front forks and a split piston rear shock absorber. The 5” TFT display, selectable ride modes, including the new TRACK screen, and standard Cornering MTC add to the rider-centric features.
The 2024 KTM 250 DUKE has been designed with a sleek and compact form that is achieved by the smaller tank spoilers compared to the 390 DUKE. These spoilers are well-aligned with painted headlight surrounds and a lower seat height of 31.4 inches (800 mm), which makes it more comfortable to ride. The bike is available in two new color options, Electronic Orange and Ceramic White, and the new 5″ LCD display and LED headlight make it stand out from the rest of the range.
The 250 DUKE comes with an improved power-to-weight ratio, thanks to its new Single Overhead Cam (SOHC) design that is lighter, simpler, and has fewer components, ride-by-wire, and a new Power Assist Slipper Clutch (PASC). The suspension features a non-adjustable 43mm WP APEX Open Cartridge big piston fork set up with 150mm of travel, and a WP APEX Emulsion shock with preload adjustability on the rear.
The new DUKE models, the KTM 390 and KTM 250, are set to arrive at dealerships in December 2023 and early 2024, respectively.
