XDA cancels the MTC Engineering Summer Nationals

With the Summer Nationals canceled, the Xtreme Dragbike Association looks to its four remaining events to compose the 2020 season.

The MTC Engineering Summer Nationals that was slated for May 15-17 at Virginia Motorsports Park (VMP). However, Virginia currently has a state-issued “stay at home” order that won’t be lifted any time soon. So, to comply, both the Xtreme Dragbike Association (XDA) and VMP decided to cancel the race event weekend. This is the second race event of the season that has been canceled due to state restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While this one XDA event has been canceled, the XDA still has four race event weekends remaining for the 2020 season: June 19-21, July 24-26, Sept 18-20 at Maryland International Raceway, and August 21-23 at Virginia Motorsports Park.
