Team Hammer has confirmed the talents of Richie Escalante and Tyler Scott in the 2025 and 2026 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship. Both riders have signed two-year agreements, reaffirming their commitment to the team and setting the stage for a compelling MotoAmerica Superbike and Supersport campaign.

Richie Escalante, a 29-year-old from Tizayuca, Mexico, joined Team Hammer in 2022 and made an impact by stepping up to the MotoAmerica Superbike class. Before joining the team, Escalante enjoyed a stellar career in the support classes, highlighted by his 2020 MotoAmerica Supersport championship win. Riding the Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki GSX-R1000R, he finished inside the top ten during his rookie Superbike season. He earned a fourth-place championship ranking, achieved eleven top-five finishes, and secured his first Superbike podium with a runner-up performance at the Circuit of the Americas during the 2023 season. Although an injury in the season opener ended his 2024 championship efforts, he returned later in the year, closing the season with four top-five results in the final five races, including another podium finish at the Circuit of the Americas. Escalante will also return to the banks of Daytona for the Daytona 200 in March of 2025, piloting the Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki GSX-R750.

“We’re pleased to be returning with Richie and Tyler the next two years. Both riders have shown competitiveness and growth during their three years with the team. We have a lot of respect for both riders and their abilities and have always had good relationships with both. We also appreciate their loyalty in remaining with us. The team enjoys working with both riders, but at the end of the day, it is about results and we have seen those. They have proven what they can do and we believe we can keep getting stronger and more competitive with Richie and Tyler.” – Chris Ulrich, Team Hammer Vice President of Racing Operations.
