The Rahal Ducati Moto rider line-up of PJ Jacobsen and Kayla Yaakov will lead the team’s charge in the 2024 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship.

The Rahal Ducati Moto Team, gearing up for the highly anticipated 2024 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship, proudly presents its stellar rider line-up featuring the seasoned PJ Jacobsen and rising star Kayla Yaakov. Riding the No. 15 and No. 19 XPEL Ducati Panigale V2s, respectively, Jacobsen and Yaakov bring a compelling blend of experience and youthful energy to the Rahal Ducati Moto team.

PJ Jacobsen, a five-time race winner with an illustrious Grand Prix background, adds a wealth of international racing experience to Rahal Ducati Moto. Having excelled in prestigious championships like the World Superbike Championship and World Supersport Championship, Jacobsen’s achievements include clinching the vice-champion title in the World Supersport Championship and securing a remarkable second-place finish in the Suzuka 8 Hour in 2018. His recent foray into the MotoAmerica Superbike division, where he finished third in the 2023 season championship, positions him as a valuable asset for the team’s debut season in 2024.

Complementing Jacobsen’s seasoned expertise is the young and dynamic Kayla Yaakov, whose journey into racing began at the tender age of four. Breaking barriers, Yaakov made history in 2022 as the first female to claim victory in a MotoAmerica race at Ridge Motorsports Park, a feat that underscored her exceptional talent. Throughout the 2022 season, Yaakov stood on the podium 11 times, clinching four wins. Despite facing challenges in the 2023 Twins Cup Championship due to a pre-season injury, she finished a commendable seventh in the championship.
