Largest Motorcycle Racing Audience Makes History at Road America
Road America achieved a monumental milestone during the 2025 MotoAmerica Championship round held from May 30 to June 1. MotoAmerica set a new record, drawing the largest motorcycle racing audience ever seen in the facility’s 45-year motorcycle racing history. Race fans flocked from across the country to enjoy perfect weather and thrilling on-track action.
As Road America’s President and General Manager Mike Kertscher noted, “This was a milestone weekend for all of us. The energy from the fans, the world-class competition, and the sheer volume of everything from entries to spectators made this the biggest Superbike event we’ve ever hosted since motorcycles first hit the track in 1980.”
Largest Motorcycle Racing Audience: A Landmark Achievement
Road America, a circuit known for its sprawling four-mile layout and scenic surroundings, perfectly accommodated this record-setting crowd. The fans brought immense energy, flooding the grandstands and grassy viewing areas.
Beyond spectacular racing in classes including Superbike, Motovation Supersport, Stock 1000, the Parts Unlimited Talent Cup By Motul, and the Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race series, fans enjoyed exciting interactions with their favorite racers, while stunt shows and vendors captivated spectators between races. The Vintage MotoFest ride-in bike show was a major attraction.
With the largest motorcycle racing audience ever recorded at Road America, this event has set a new standard for future MotoAmerica weekends. Chuck Aksland expressed excitement about continuing this momentum, saying, “We can’t wait to do it all again in 2026.”
Discounted tickets for next year’s race weekend are available now until September 1. Enthusiasts can purchase three-day MotoAmerica Superbike Weekend tickets at the special rate of $80 at www.roadamerica.com.
