The growl of American V-Twin muscle is about to echo across the globe in a way never seen—or heard—before. Announced at Austria’s Red Bull Ring, the 2026 Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup will be the world’s first international racing championship dedicated exclusively to high-performance Harley-Davidson bagger motorcycles.

The 2026 Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup marks a revolutionary fusion of American iron and European road-racing legacy, taking Harley-Davidson’s Grand American Touring platform from the open highways to some of the most iconic racetracks on the MotoGP calendar. For Harley-Davidson, this is a declaration of performance intent. As Jochen Zeitz, outgoing Chairman and CEO of Harley-Davidson, said at the unveiling, “This series is about pushing limits—of our machines, our riders, and our brand—on a global stage.” MotoGP Chief Sporting Officer Carlos Ezpeleta echoed the excitement, calling the World Cup “a fantastic addition to race weekends” and “a way to connect with one of the most iconic lifestyle and cultural brands in North America—and the world.”

The 2026 Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup will debut with six rounds spanning both American and European soil, providing a truly international stage for Harley-Davidson’s entry into global circuit racing. The championship starts at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas—no better launchpad than the heartland of Harley culture. From there, the series crosses the Atlantic to legendary circuits that have defined MotoGP history.

The full 2026 race schedule is as follows:

  • March 27–29: Grand Prix of the Americas – Circuit of the Americas (USA)
  • May 29–31: Grand Prix of Italy – Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello (Italy)
  • June 26–28: Grand Prix of the Netherlands – TT Circuit Assen (Netherlands)
  • August 7–9: Grand Prix of the United Kingdom – Silverstone Circuit (UK)
  • August 28–30: Grand Prix of Aragon – MotorLand Aragón (Spain)
  • September 18–20: Grand Prix of Austria – Red Bull Ring (Austria) (Championship Round)

Austria’s Red Bull Ring will serve as the crown jewel and final battleground of the inaugural season—a fitting venue to honor Europe’s deep motorsport roots and cap off the series’ dramatic global arc.

The 2026 Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup symbolizes a lifestyle evolving into an international competition, one bagger at a time. First teased at Le Mans during the Grand Prix of France earlier this year, the series has already sparked heavy buzz. Now, with the official calendar locked in, teams, riders, and sponsors are being called to the grid. The garage doors are open, the global stage is set, and the unmistakable bark of Milwaukee’s finest is about to turn heads from Texas to Tirol.
