Harley-Davidson kicks in the door of the performance bagger category with the introduction of the CVO Road Glide RR, the most powerful production motorcycle in the brand’s 122-year history. Taking inspiration from its MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers race machines, Harley-Davidson has fused race-spec engineering with premium craftsmanship to create a street-legal bagger that delivers exceptional performance and exclusivity. With only 131 hand-assembled units available exclusively in the U.S., the CVO Road Glide RR carries a $110,000 price tag.

CVO Road Glide RR

The CVO Road Glide RR takes direct cues from Harley-Davidson’s factory racing team, boasting an aggressive Racing Orange livery that fades into a Bar & Shield graphic across the fairing, tank, side covers, and saddlebags. Carbon fiber elements, including the front fairing, rear fender, and radiator shroud, shed weight without sacrificing durability. A white Screamin’ Eagle graphic runs along the tank. The Gloss Black seven-spoke aluminum wheels feature a laser-etched CVO RR marking on the front rim.

Harley-Davidson CVO Road Glide RR Specs

Powering the CVO Road Glide RR is the all-new Screamin’ Eagle 131 V-Twin, a Milwaukee-Eight-based powerplant tuned for 153 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque. This makes the CVO Road Glide RR the most powerful factory-built Harley-Davidson Big Twin to date.

The CNC-ported cylinder heads, equipped with larger 42mm intake and 34mm exhaust valves, optimize airflow for maximum efficiency. The engine’s high-performance SE8-550 camshaft boosts power delivery across the RPM range, while a new 68mm throttle body and aluminum intake manifold ensure precise throttle response. The bike also features Screamin’ Eagle high-flow fuel injectors to maximize performance at high RPM, paired with an elevated redline of 6,500 RPM.

Backing this monstrous V-Twin is the Screamin’ Eagle Racing King 6-speed transmission, paired with a Billet Clutch Basket designed to handle extreme torque. An Akrapovič full titanium exhaust sheds over 10 pounds, further enhancing power-to-weight efficiency.

The CVO Road Glide RR is equipped with top-tier Öhlins suspension components engineered for both track and street dominance. Up front, fully adjustable 43mm Öhlins FGR 253 Hypersport inverted forks, co-developed with Harley-Davidson Factory Racing, provide razor-sharp handling. At the rear, Screamin’ Eagle Öhlins remote reservoir shocks enhance stability and traction under aggressive riding conditions.

By increasing the ride height by two inches, Harley-Davidson has boosted lean angles to 36 degrees (right) and 35 degrees (left)—three degrees higher than the CVO Road Glide ST. A billet aluminum swingarm, CNC-machined from a 220-pound billet block down to 18 pounds, offers a 10% increase in stiffness while reducing weight for improved cornering precision.

Bringing this high-performance bagger to a halt is a race-spec Brembo braking system. Up front, Brembo GP4-RX CNC-machined calipers clamp onto 320mm Brembo T-Drive rotors. The nickel-plated finish enhances heat dissipation, ensuring consistent braking performance under extreme conditions. At the rear, a 300mm rotor with a four-piston Brembo caliper provides balanced deceleration.

Weight savings play a crucial role in performance, and the CVO Road Glide RR takes every measure to keep weight to a minimum. Through the extensive use of carbon fiber bodywork, a billet aluminum swingarm, titanium mufflers, and lightweight powertrain covers, the bike tips the scales at 750 pounds—50 pounds lighter than the CVO Road Glide ST.

CVO Road Glide RR Electronic Suite

Harley-Davidson has packed the CVO Road Glide RR with an advanced Rider Safety Enhancements suite, which includes Cornering ABS, Cornering Traction Control, Drag Torque Slip Control, and a Vehicle Hold Control system. You can further tailor your experience using seven selectable ride modes. The Road Mode offers balanced power delivery for daily riding, while the Sport Mode maximizes throttle response with full power output. For wet conditions, Rain Mode provides reduced acceleration and increased traction control. Additionally, four custom modes allow for rider-programmable settings for personalized performance. The Track Mode, developed with factory racer Kyle Wyman, enhances precision corner exits and control on closed courses, whereas the Track Plus Mode disables linked braking and minimizes ABS intervention for expert-level track riding.

Even with its race-ready DNA, the CVO Road Glide RR does not compromise on rider comfort and technology. It debuts a premium Harley-Davidson Audio powered by Rockford Fosgate Stage III system, featuring 250-watt fairing-mounted speakers for an immersive sound experience. The 12.3-inch touchscreen Skyline OS display provides seamless integration with Apple CarPlay, GPS navigation, and live traffic/weather updates.

The CVO Road Glide RR is Harley-Davidson’s most powerful, race-inspired production bagger ever built, delivering a combination of track-proven engineering, high-performance components, and limited-production exclusivity.
