2026 Multistrada V4 Rally Leads Ducati’s Evolution in ADV Touring
The 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally is a recalibration of what’s possible when high-performance engineering meets boundless adventure. This latest iteration refines, redefines, and outright dominates the ADV category by combining proven V4 power with an unprecedented arsenal of rider-focused tech. Ducati’s goal was clear: build a bike that could comfortably and safely devour continents, whether you’re riding solo or with a pillion, whether you’re tackling alpine tarmac or backcountry terrain.
From its debut, the Multistrada V4 was already a segment disruptor — the first ADV to integrate MotoGP-derived V4 technology and radar-assisted Adaptive Cruise Control. But the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally takes it further. It’s the go-anywhere, conquer-everything machine that makes no excuses and takes no prisoners.

The 30-liter fuel tank is built for real range. The semi-active Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO has been further refined, now equipped with an Automatic Lowering Device and intelligent terrain recognition. It’s smarter, more comfortable, and more capable than ever before. But make no mistake: Ducati hasn’t lost the plot — this is still a 170-horsepower V4 weapon with the heart of a superbike and the soul of a world traveler.
2026 Multistrada V4 Rally Brings Big Adventure to New Heights
At the core of the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally is Ducati’s Granturismo V4 — a 1,158cc beast delivering 170 hp at 10,750 rpm and 121 Nm of torque at 8,750 rpm. The torque curve is engineered for smooth, progressive delivery, making it equally at home picking through tight trails or hammering down an autobahn. The counter-rotating crankshaft, lifted from MotoGP tech, keeps the handling agile while fighting the gyroscopic resistance of wheels in motion. A new torque map per gear enhances control and rideability across all conditions.

But what really sets this model apart is its adaptive capability. Ducati’s updated Adaptive Skyhook Suspension EVO works in tandem with the new Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO), which simulates the input of 70 sensors and dynamically adjusts suspension behavior based on riding style, terrain, and load. That means whether you’re solo, fully loaded, or two-up with panniers, the V4 Rally adjusts itself on the fly for optimum control, stability, and comfort.
The braking system also gets smarter. Ducati has introduced rear-to-front braking logic, engaging both ends even if the rider only taps the rear pedal. With a new oversized 280 mm rear disc and enhanced modulation via the Bosch 10.3ME ABS, stopping power feels sharp and intuitive. Add Ducati Wheelie Control, traction management, and Engine Brake Control, and you have a rider aid suite that rivals any tech-laden supersport.
2026 Multistrada V4 Rally: Comfort, Tech, and Rugged Italian Style
Style has never been an afterthought for Ducati, and the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally wears its capability well. Available in Ducati Red with a brushed aluminum tank and black wheels or Jade Green with gold spoked wheels, the V4 Rally exudes adventure-ready sophistication. Spoked, tubeless wheels come standard, wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Trail II rubber, and backed by TPMS to keep you informed under pressure — literally.

Passenger comfort is prioritized with repositioned pannier mounts for more legroom, a redesigned die-cast top case support, and heated seats in upper trims. The rider benefits from heated grips, an expanded windscreen (40 mm wider, 20 mm taller), and a redesigned 6.5-inch TFT display with new navigation and suspension interfaces. The Automatic Lowering Device makes parking lot maneuvers less intimidating, dropping the ride height when speed falls below 10 km/h — then restoring it once you’re moving again.
New safety enhancements include Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Cornering Lights, and the Ducati Brake Light, which flashes under heavy braking. A Coming Home function keeps the low beams on momentarily after shutdown — thoughtful touches for the real-world rider.
On the hardware side, Ducati retains the proven aluminum monocoque frame with a repositioned swingarm pivot to enhance anti-squat behavior under load. A redesigned center stand comes standard and is easier to use than before. All trim levels include a radar system, with Full Adventure adding an Akrapovič exhaust and carbon fiber mudguard.
With a starting MSRP of $32,495, the 2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally will be available in U.S. dealerships beginning in December 2025.
