The Ducati Multistrada family family expands in 2025 with the addition of the V2 and V2 S. A revised design is spotlighted: a shorter front end, an adjustable windshield, a new headlight and daytime running lights.
The Multistrada V2 is powered by the compact and lightweight 890 cc Ducati V2 engine. Featuring IVT variable intake valve timing, the latest Ducati v-twin engine lies in wait under a 5-gallon fuel tank with a performance output of 115 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. The gearbox has the Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 for precise gear changes. The gear ratio has been improved with a shorter first-to-second transition for quick acceleration and usability at lower speeds.
The chassis comprises an aluminum monocoque frame, a steel trellis rear subframe, and an aluminum double-sided swingarm. The 445-pound V2 S has a semi-active suspension setup using Ducati Skyhook Suspension with Suspension mode management and Minimum Preload function handling the electronically controlled 45 mm Marzocchi forks and Sachs rear shock. On the 439-pound V2, suspension duties fall on adjustable 45 mm Marzocchi front forks with a Sachs unit at the rear.
Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires are mated to 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. Brembo components operate the braking system. At the front end, you’ll find twin 320 mm discs and a single 265 mm rotor at the rear.
With data displayed on a new 5-inch TFT dash, the 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2 and V4 S’ electronics suite is comprehensive. There are five riding modes—Sport, Touring, Urban, Enduro, and Wet. It also includes cornering ABS, DtiresTraction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Engine Brake Control (EBC). The dash has three info modes—Road, Road Pro, and Rally.
The new windshield is adjustable and offers heightened protection, designed. Upwash lateral air conveyors send fresh air to your legs for further air comfort. A new rider and passenger seat offer greater comfort. Both seats have two position adjustability, 850 mm to 830 mm. The V4 S can be lowered to 790 mm.
The new headlights and daytime running lights (DRL) borrow from the 2025 Panigale and Multistrada V4. The shorter “beak” or front end integrates with the windshield for a more streamlined appearance. The new turn signals are slim and repositioned for proper visibility.
The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V2, available in Ducati Red, arrives at dealerships in January 2025 with an MSRP of $15,995. The V2 S arrives simultaneously in Storm Green or Ducati Red with an MSRP of $19,295.
