Ducati announced its 2025 Multistrada lineup, introducing essential updates to the V4 ($19,995), V4 S ($28,305), and Pikes Peak models for improved performance, comfort, and technological refinement. With the introduction of extended deactivation technology, the 2025 Multistrada V4 engine reduces fuel consumption by up to 6%. This feature deactivates the rear bank of cylinders under certain conditions, optimizing fuel usage without compromising performance.
The Multistrada now feature an automatic lowering device, making it easier to handle and maneuver at low speeds or when coming to a stop. This system lowers the bike by up to 30mm when the speed drops below 10 km/h, providing riders with increased confidence during urban riding or when fully loaded.
The Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system enhances safety by providing more precise electronic control adjustments based on simulated data from 70 sensors. This technology refines the functionality of ABS Cornering, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Ducati Traction Control (DTC), ensuring optimal performance in various riding conditions.
The bikes now feature updated Skyhook EVO suspension, offering improved response and comfort. The Forward Collision Warning (FCW) system has been added to the radar-assisted safety suite, alerting riders to potential frontal collisions. Emergency braking now activates the Ducati Brake Light system, which also triggers the indicators to warn following traffic.
The Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system is another innovation that provides real-time data analysis to optimize the performance of electronic aids like ABS Cornering, Traction Control, and Wheelie Control. This results in a safer and more responsive ride across various conditions.
Under the 2025 Multistrada V4 hood is a 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine, delivering 170 horses at 10,750 rpm and 123.8 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. The chassis features a lightweight aluminum monocoque frame and a repositioned swingarm pivot point. A new riding position offers a more aggressive stance. Higher, rearward footpegs and a lower, narrower handlebar allow riders to assume an aggressive riding position.
The 2025 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak edition, with Ducati Corse-inspired livery, takes the updates of the standard models up several notches. The Pikes Peak has a Race Riding mode that unfetters the full wrath of the bike’s 170-hp V4 Granturismo engine. The Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 event-based suspension has been optimized for dynamic riding, adapting in real-time to provide exceptional handling and feedback. Ergonomic adjustments, such as higher and rearward footpegs and a lower, narrower handlebar, contribute to improved control and lean angles.
Ducati offers various trims and accessory packages for the 2025 Ducati Multistrada, including the new Sport Travel & Radar and Adventure Travel & Radar options with features like a center stand, heated grips and seats, front and rear radar systems, and specialized bags.
The new Multistrada V4 models will be available in Ducati Red, Thrilling Black, and Arctic White, with dealerships expecting arrivals starting in October 2024, along with the $32,995 Pikes Peak edition.
