Husqvarna announced the 2024 Svartpilen 801, a bike focused on redefining the naked motorcycle concept with its blend of performance, agility, and contemporary, scrambler-inspired aesthetics.
At the core of the Svartpilen 801’s appeal is its potent 799 cc, parallel-twin, DOHC engine, encased within a robust yet lightweight chromium-molybdenum tubular steel frame. This combination ensures a precise balance between flexibility and rigidity and contributes to the motorcycle’s impressive power-to-weight ratio. The engine weighs 114.6 pounds dry and boasts advanced technologies that push service intervals to 15,000 km while maintaining low fuel consumption.
The Svartpilen 801’s design is a nod to minimalist elegance, with LED lighting, aluminum handlebars, and slimline ergonomic bodywork all contributing to its distinctive street presence. Its dark-toned two-piece seat enhances rider comfort and facilitates unrestricted movement, embodying the bike’s spirited essence. The Svartpilen is equipped with cutting-edge electronic aids and an optional Dynamic Pack, which elevates the riding experience with adjustable Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC), ABS, and multiple ride modes, including an Anti-Wheelie mode.
The Svartpilen 801 excels with its adjustable WP APEX suspension, providing optimal comfort and handling on diverse terrains. Integrating a Power Assist Slipper Clutch (PASC) and Easy Shift provides smooth gear transitions, while the Pirelli MT60 RS tires mounted on 17-inch wheels offer proper grip and feedback.
The dash consists of a 5″ TFT dashboard with a Connectivity Unit for seamless smartphone integration. It also features advanced safety features like corner-sensitive ABS and a hazard warning light switch integrated into the handlebar controls.
The 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 801, engineered to inspire adventure and make every journey exceptional, will hit dealership floors in June 2024.
