The NHTSA has issued a “do not drive” warning for the 2022 Can-Am Ryker.

A “do not drive” warning and recall have been issued by the NHTSA for the 2022 BRP Can-AM Ryker. Certain models may have a handlebar stem bolt with an insufficient thread length as well as potential debris in the steering column.

The recall originated from two reports in May of 2022 that indicate the stem bolt failed while the Rykers were being ridden. One of the cases resulted in the rider losing control and suffering a sprained ankle. At the time of the recall’s issuance, a total of 9,353 Rykers are potentially affected.
